Volunteer with us!
There are various ways to volunteer with Paulo Freire Institute. WE need help with:
- Reading club with Primary school children
- One to one sessions for basic Maltese and/or basic English
- The summer programme
- Other possible services
Every Wednesday afternoon (5-6:30pm) we organise a reading club for primary school children with the help of a number of volunteers who support a literacy expert. Volunteers, mostly youths, help by carrying out one-to-one reading sessions with the children, participate in educational games and story-telling.
Each session is preceded by a 30 minute training session for the volunteers,
